Maize and Mountains

Another slow start to the day, with naps for the kids and general up tidying.

I am not used the pace of life one has to adopt when young children are involved. I guess it's good that I am experiencing it, just in case I ever become a mother. Life revolves around feeds and naps and how windy it is outside, it would seem. Dogs are way easier!

To boot, I seem to have picked up a cold - lots of sneezing and coughing. Exercise and lots of fruit when I get home, methinks.

Anyway, we went out this afternoon to Ashford Village, where we looked around the craft shop and had cheesecake and coffee at the cafe. L had water in her baby cup and A had a fluffy and a biscuit. Suitably refreshed, I headed off for a spot of mountain spotting, while AP took the girls home to get ready for dinner.

I did a photoshoot of the three of them while we were out, and have just processed them all.

This is the view from State Highway 1, across a field of maize.

Prayers and an early night for us all I think.

Night all.
