Beach walk

I've had a lovely day today.

Firstly Cousteau and I went to the beach, where we had a lovely walk.

I met this family on the beach; they are from the States. I gave them my card so they have someone they know in Christchurch. I know how hard it is to settle in a new country (I did it 13 years ago). I don't know if they'll text or email, but at least I've given them the opportunity.

Then home to bake some chocolate chip cookies. Mmmmm.

CP came round in the afternoon. We went for a coffee and then for another walk.

We've just cooked a delicious dinner and are watching St. Elmo's Fire.

Mousse au chocolat for dessert.
