Day trip

The Husband has taken today off work, so we decided that a day trip was in order. The day started all overcast and murky, so we opted to head around the coast further. We stopped off for fish and chips in Kaiaua, and played on the pirate park there. Then carried on to Miranda Hot Springs for the afternoon.

We stayed in the water until we were all prunes. It was about 12 degrees C there, so being in the warm water, and sticking random limbs out of the water to cool off was BLISS!

Stopped in Kaiaua for an ice cream (cheap as!) and another play, before a twilight trip back around the coast home.
