Invitation Part 3

The day arrived! Our Library was officially opened today. It is one of my favourite places and I couldn't wait for it to be ready!

It says: MCLS Reading Spot. That stands for Mountain Cambridge Little School. This corner has the best books in the library.

The library is a dream fulfilled! I see it as the heart of the school. The money we raised from last month's Cambridge Food Festival was spent on buying books. Our collection has started and I am sure it will continue to grow year after year. We dedicated three bookshelves to the main members of the Food Festival Committee. Anna Trapido, food journalist, has the food shelf. Yolande, the chairlady, chose autobiographies. Marie, the stall co-ordinator, chose the humour shelf and we will forever see her smile and hear her laughter when we select these books.

Friday turned out to be another busy one and I was glad to get home and start the weekend!

We had supper at the clubhouse, the Friday night buffet. Its quite nice to go over on the golfcart, as it feels like we are on holiday. We met a friendly couple, Cliff and Trish who come out for weekends. It really is a nice atmosphere at the clubhouse and the children get to socialise with eachother too!
