Dusk at Munlochy Bay, where the Big Burn meets the bay.
This was to have been the "extra photo" today, but despite numerous efforts, it failed to appear after uploading to the server. I and others have had this bother before, and hopefully it will be somewhere on the (never ending) "To Do" list. Seems to just affect certain files. Have tried: different browser software; changing the filename; changing the picture size; loading other extras for the same day (successfully), and then trying to load it. No, no, no. So, with apologies to those lovely early Blippers that commented and starred the initial shot, I've swapped that, so it's now the extra... as it loaded there without problems, unlike the stubborn shot above!
Lovely day. Beautifully sunny and clear, but cold. Overnight the temperature dropped to minus six or seven degrees C. Took a while for things to warm up a fraction - frost remained in the shadows. Cycled in to Inverness for some shopping and a long overdue haircut. Took a few film photos, and would have used one here (as well as the other, Film, journal), but I thought it might be a good sunset tonight. Surprisingly managed to force myself out - system is a bit in shock after an excessive number of lengths in the pool last night, and then that cycle today. Will sleep well tonight.
Best wishes to CawdorChronicle. I do hope all is well with yourselves, and was saddened by the sudden disappearance of your journal.
