Dog

The van has been there for ages but the landslide is recent. When the van was originally parked there www.dog.com was a domain owned by a Greek guy who liked posting photographs of his two show-dogs. The guy who lives across the street from the van is a dog lover, quite a rarity in Greece. The back doors of the van read DOG.GR now another commercial domain name but it did make us hoot with laughter when we first saw it, to the point where we now both use “dot gr” as verbal punctuation almost as frequently as I use emoticons as written punctuation;
e.g. “Eleni stopped me for a chat in the village this morning so by the time I reached the post office it was closed dot gr.”
Do you suppose the van has buried a bone there?
