Long Jumper

This could be something you wear on a cold day,but in this case this is one of the Waimate girls competing in the long jump at the Mid South Canterbury Athletic Champs today. Thomas ran very well in the 3000m another sub 11 minute time again. Finally Thomas has broken 11 minutes for the 3k,  Thursday he ran 10:40 and on Friday he ran 4:56 in his 1500m Race and today 10:52 not bad 3 Races in 4 days. Peter a friend of mine and another coach asked me what time I wanted Thomas to run as Peter was going to pace him through, I said 10:30 and poor old Pete's face just dropped when he realised how hard he was going to have to work.Late tonight as I have spent some time with Jesse going over his training plan for his 1/2 marathon in 14 weeks, Jesse is hoping to Break 1:11.  A little bit about Jesse
