we had such a good day today. beefy went off canvassing with gillian for the morning then we all went over to pitmedden to try out the coffee apothecary as we'd heard great things about it. it's really lovely, great coffee and food and the kind of place you could spend a day lolling about, reading.
then a last minute decision to nip up to sandend to get some stones for me to paint. the girls didn't object so off we went and had a total laugh all the way there and back. looking forward to summer at sandend this year...
home to watch the film about amy winehouse with bee and beth and start on those stones. such a sad film, such a waste of talent. and as always with stories like hers, you wonder why there wasn't someone there with her the whole way looking out for her and stopping the nonsense.
