Piste side Shrine

This being Italy one can not go far without coming across a shrine dedicated to the Madonna. After a night of heavy snow which continued into the morning, SwissPiper and I went out Langlauf skiing in the Val di St Bernado, conditions were very beautiful but heavy going in the fresh snow.
Perhaps I should pray to the Madonna to improve my skiing; I need all the help I can get.
