A New Hobby

I have started playing the ukulele.  Having never played a stringed instrument, this is quite a challenge for me.  And my fingers get sore! I am borrowing this very cheap instrument from a friend and will buy a better one when I know I will continue.   A friend and I get together every couple of weeks to play and set a goal for our next meeting.  We are hoping to get a small group of people in town to get together occasionally for fun.  
Don and I are planning to move to a different town in about two years and I know that they have a ukulele group that I am hoping to join.  I thought that this would be the perfect way to get to know some fun people in our new town.
