Downtown Reflections

Six months ago I started a new job and the main office is in downtown St Paul, MN.  This photo is taken out of the (dirty) window of our office.  The old building being reflected is where I am. It is called the Golden Rule Building - no idea why.  The newer building across the street has all of the white squares.  I will be in the city about once a week and am looking forward to getting some interesting blips here.
Having never worked in the city I am intrigued by the maze of the skyway system here. According to a website, St. Paul  has more than 5 miles of skyway connecting 30 blocks. Walking through the skyway during the lunch hour, you see a whole different world.  Every food vendor you can imagine and many people walking from one building to another without going outside.  We have walked the streets of downtown St Paul often and a bit in the skyway, but I had no idea this was all going on!  And it pretty much all closes down on the weekends.
