Mangawhai Heads

We have stayed at Mangawhai before and it is a delightful spot - also spectacular.
We had a fairly fraught trip from Taupo up across Auckland harbour and north; the aftermath of Cyclone Winston was hitting the area, no wind but rain like you have never seen for over 150 k. Lovely and calm here although very humid.
We stopped at one of our fav places - Morris and James pottery in Matakana, lovely! M offered to pay so bought some mugs to make up a set from last time.
Bennet's of MangawhaI is a chocolate factory (chocolaterie) and they make the most delicious chocolate, l purchased some for friends at home - passion fruit, feijoa and blueberry flavours.
