Madam Butterfly

We went for a guided Heritage walk around Kildare today, there is 108ft tower called St Brigid's round tower which can be climbed up on the inside with wooden ladder steps & of course Mr Toad went up, but I stayed put.

The view on a clear day (which it wasn't) is magnificent, and after that the heavens opened and we were soaked.

This month is the Kildare Summer (ha!) Festival and all sorts of activities are going on, live music etc. and this is one of three girls dressed as butterflies that were flitting around, they brightened up a very grey day.
