Spring into inaction

I thought this looked very springlike and for that reason couldn't resist it.  It's the biggest 'branch' on a small new tree just down from my house that has been planted to replace a huge bramble-tangled pampas grass (try saying that fast!).

All is now ready for tomorrow and the taxi ordered for 6.40am :(  What a shock that will be to the system.  I'm hoping to be home from the hospital on Thursday, but at the moment I just don't know.

Blips are being attempted each day.  I have a rather cheaty one for tomorrow all set up and ready to press the button on in the morning.  After that it's either my (very bad) phone camera or my daughter bringing in the proper camera when she visits.  They will be back-blipped.  I am about to turn my comments back on but please note I am not going to be commenting tonight, so please don't feel you should either.  I mean that.  It's just so they are there when I get back in case I have to use sillyequipment instead of my proper computer.
