Taking off

Woke up to a hard frost, and sunshine.
Not what we expect in Cornwall!
Our dear friend K arrived late morning, and after lunch drove to Marazion and walked across to St Michael's Mount.
This photo taken on our walk back along the causeway. Now almost repaired after the storms of 2014.
Such a lot of catching up to do. I don't think we have stopped talking since she arrived!
I cooked a cassoulet for our evening meal, followed by lemon tart and mixed berries.
K has brought a case of wines. Two of which we have drunk tonight. Plus one of ours.
So hope all this makes sense!
Should sleep well.
