Music night

I didn't want to get her trumpet teacher in the picture as I hadn't asked if it was ok so I snuck this picture of H doing her trumpet playing and that is why she is all off to one side like Gourock.

I came home tonight to an avocado mint salad and the ingredients for the winter squash penne ready to cook on the counter. . There are no pictures as we were not as keen on it as we were with yesterday's dinner. In fact H commented that it looked like slop you would serve to prisoners. It tasted a bit like thick lentil soup with pasta but the salad was delicious.
I have frozen the left over sauce and will use it as a soup base some other time.
