Craven Court

Not a nice day for the beginning of March but we had to go to Skipton to pick up my Easter 'Bookshop in a box' for church on Sunday.

I was a bit early so had a quick look around Craven Court shopping centre as the bookshop is just behind it. It was very quiet at 9.40am which is perhaps why I noticed this wonderful glass and timber roof for the first time.

Liked the 'gas' style lights too.

Afterwards we went up to the craft shop in Embsay as I needed some tapestry wools. We had intended having lunch at the farm shop where we stopped to buy a few veg but there was a 25 minute wait. Never mind, next time when hopefully better weather will be more conducive to sticking around this lovely market town.
