Happy St David's Day

I've been to Perth and back today to meet colleagues from three other Scottish universities. We discussed plans for events for PhD students in the domain of Information Science later this year, and applications for funded studentships to start in 2016/17. Part of the meeting was held with a set of student reps who have formed a committee to run a one-day doctoral colloquium in Glasgow in June. LyndseyJ is the student rep from my university.

In acknowledgement of St David's Day I have blipped a daffodil in our back garden.

Exercise today: a little walking - 7,335 steps.
