Drive-by shooting

As we were driving back from Narbonne at 6 o'clock, I realised I had not taken a single photo all day, so out came the camera. This was the best of the dozen random photos I took -- complete with filthy windscreen due to the Saharan sandstorm last week.

We'd been out for lunch with B at old favourite l'Estagnol, and then to visit J in the convalescent home where he's been for the last couple of weeks. He's not been at all well, and while in the home he managed to fall out of a chair and crack some ribs :( But he was reasonably comfortable and it was good to see him and to spend time with B.
