Cromer Academy win again!

From the North Norfolk coast to at least Norwich, the weather was dismal first thing. I drove in to the park & ride and then sat on the bus with my eyes shut. I could easily have gone back to sleep.

Busy today, but a different busy to yesterday. It seemed to be non stop, but the end result was much less achieved. At lunchtime, the rain put me off going out, so the office had to suffer the smell of my boiled egg!

I got home at 5.30 to be greeted by an excited Henry. He had taken his team to the final of an inter school competition where they had designed a fish and chip shop. I'm not sure of the details, but out of the 6 teams taking part, his team won!! That is the second of these types of competitions the school has entered where Henry's team has won. So not bad going & feel very proud of him! Here he is with his medal and £20 gift tokens prize! Well done Cromer Academy again! Henry really has embraced our move to Norfolk; perhaps he is the one who will soon be saying 'compoooter' and 'coocumber' just like my lovely old nanna did!

Loved watching about the innovations of the 1990's on TV tonight. How have we become such a throw away society in just 50 years? It makes me want to recycle even more than I do already.

Not sure I've done anything tonight. Time seemed to fly. I nearly cleaned my cooker. Does that count?

Off to bed now to read my book.
