Mystery Building, St Andrews St, Norwich

This is a building that I've tried to photograph before. Today, in the rain & hail I went out to wander about at lunchtime, in the hope of finding a good blip.

The problem with this is I don't know what the building is now, or was once. It appears to float between modern office blocks and sits smack bang in the middle of an area that has become parking. I would love to know what it was, and what led it to be saved, when clearly any other buildings of the period have long gone.

I have a headache, but I've cooked tea for two, washed up, and even finished writing chapter 19 of my book. I had set myself a goal to finish it by 31/3 but that isn't going to happen. I've only been at it for 10 years....

Will watch Grantchester as it takes me back to Cambridge - then bed.
