Proper Veggies

Washing and prepping these veg for a bit of soup-making today. The quality of the ones we get in our veg box always delights me - all shapes and sizes, with the dirt still on them, the way they ought to be. By contrast, the parsnips are ones bought in the supermarket: clean, uniform in size, pale and really not very exciting.
