Then He Wrapped Her In His Arms Again...
Bernard was in no mood for messing today.
As I approached I could see his mood was dark, but I told him the one about the No Eye'd Deer, and he soon loosened up.
I'm getting quite OCD about my Lunchtime walks, and today, I decided that rather than walk to Bernard and Back, or to the Village and back, I would walk on....
And On.. and on.
Something in my head told me there was a path, just past the layby on the A76. But there wasn't. Luckily, someone had broken the fence though, and I was able to walk through and head across the landscaped empty bit, between the A76 and my office.
Sadly, where there are pyramid type grassy knolls, and bushes, and newly springing daffodils, and me in a pair of not-walking boots, disaster is not far away.
I kept to the field side, as opposed to the road side. I didn't want anyone with their Dashboard Camera catching me as I skidded from one hill to another.
However, I made it. I did think I was going to have to call D. to come and fetch me, but I made it back with squelchy feet and a bit puffing, but that is okay - it means that I can have a biscuit. (Calorie counted and all that).
Hey Ho. I miss the voices, but generally, I'm feeling grand.
And I did a BIG one today, which I believe could be categorised as "Normal" on the chart the first one for 4 weeks.
