All the things that we've been through

Yesterday was our Wedding Anniversary, I had totally forgotten until Facebook reminded me. " You and Him have been married 36 years".  Well there you go.  It's definite, I WAS a child bride, underage and everything. 

When I saw that, I took the heart I got in my 50P mixup, and saved it for him as a pressie. 

So to completely celebrate the night, I ran out of the house at 830, cause my Aurora Watch told me it was 146!!! I'm not sure how many 146 things, or what 146 But I do know that 146 means I might be able to see the Aurora, so I went. 

I decided to night I would be brave, so in my wellies, and poncho, and home knitted scarf, i parked at the beach, and commenced walking towards the sea.  The tide was out so it was quite a walk.   I couldn't see a flipping thing, it was pitch black, and I discovered if i looked at my phone, I could see even less. 

So I kept walking.  And then stood, and looked north. And stood, and stood, and stood.  And stood some more. 

After an hour, I was cold, my feet were numb. and I thought I should try and get home. 


I sat on the couch and waited til I thawed out.   Then Toolibelle came in the front door.   I have no idea when she went out, but she had been out running, "did you see it mum", she said?  "it was lovely, eh?"

Hmm. 

She had been running along the opposite end of the beach..... and just caught sight of them as she ran along 

Typical!

But at least I was brave.
