Fieldfare (turdus pilaris)

TB test results today - we are clear!  What a relief, now we can breathe again!

We have a flock of fieldfare on the farm, I love their chuckling noise as they fly from tree to tree.  They are really like mistle thrushes but more colourful. Apparently 720,000 winter here but very few breed in this country.
