Miroesque (in a rough and ready way)
8.2C with bright spells through the day then more cloud later in the afternoon.. Light breeze.
Up early this morning. A joiner came early to fix the frame of the wooden door/gate in the wall between the house and garage. One of those jobs that gets put off but had to be done now.
Maeve and I went for a walk after lunch. Runrig on the Nano (In Search of Angels and The Story). We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The track was muddier. As we walked down the hill the farmer came down the track in the tractor (hence the muddier!) and turned into one of the fields with a trailer of old composted bales and manure. He unloaded next to a few other heaps of similar stuff. To be spread before ploughing the field.
We walked along the cycle path to Westhaven and went over the road bridge over the railway and down to the beach. The tide was almost fully out.The couple with the bouncy white dog were on the beach again, walking towards Carnoustie. We had a visit to the upturned dinghies to get some pictures to use to make another abstract image (which, many layers later, turned out to be Miroesque in a rough and ready way) and a wander along the beach as far as the fishermen's huts then came back along East Row.
We crossed back over the road bridge and carried on round in a loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home.
