Abstract glass
This morning I dribbled the last of a little leaf-shaped bottle of maple syrup - a present from Canada - over my porridge . After I'd washed the bottle I noticed the sun shining through the textured glass and thought it would make a suitable abstract blip.
Friend June came for lunch, then I joined her at a circle-dancing session - my first experience of such an activity - in Gartmore Village Hall. It was my first visit to the hall since it had undergone a complete renovation and extension, and I hardly recognised it from the freezing hall where we used to play badminton. The extra shows how the original outer wall is now a feature of the new facility.
