Design genius

Our room at Fenner's was once one of the kid's rooms. It is lovely but the animal print curtains and blue fabric light shade may have to be up cycled (F hates throwing things away that bring back fond memories) to make room for something a touch more grown up. 

I fell in love with this light shade in Ikea during our last visit. It is simply seven large sheets of waxed wired paper and a plastic cone. The clever thing is you arranging the papers in such a way that once you crumple them they create this wonderful cloud like structure. Its like having an Issey Miyake dress wrapped around our light.

I want one in my own home now. In fact I want the everywhere!
