The Track to Chillington Wharf

Great to see a gorgeous sunrise this morning.  This track runs for about a third of a mile to some cottages adjacent to a local canal.  Until recently the occupiers of the one cottage, had no electricity, used a well for water and when they wanted shopping they would get int a small rowing boat and use the canal to access amenities in the local village.

Unfortunately age catches up with most of us and the lifestyle became less easy to cope with in recent years.  I must admit, I wouldn't mind this as my front drive!
