Lord, Here Comes the Flood

We emerged from the Thai restaurant, C, RJS, M and I, to find that it was raining Cats and Dogs and Sheep and Goats and Rabbit's Friends and Relations. We tried various strategies; M and I ran home as fast as two people full of Thai food can run, C tried to hide under an umbrella whilst RJS just defied the rain - daring it to get her wet. None of these strategies was very effective (RJS's was particularly poor) and we all arrived home very wet. But I can highly recommend running as fast as you can in really heavy rain - it is very exhilarating!
