Hanging out to Dry
Whilst a lot of the UK have had snow today, it's been a glorious sunny day on the south coast, so after my hospital appointment I walked back to the marina where I'd parked the car. I nipped into the supermarket to pick up some provisions for the weekend and then I went for stroll with the intention of blipping the fishing boats.
On my way back I spotted this cormorant basking in the sun. He's a little unusual with his white head so I looked on google to see if he was a specific type. Apparently he could be a Sinensis Cormorant or it could just be breeding plumage, so I'm none the wiser. I love the colours of his feathers, and the sly way he's looking at me, almost smiling.
This afternoon I drove over to Chrissy's and we went for a walk across the fields with the boys, stopping at a nice little cafe for a drink in the sun before heading back.
We've no plans this weekend, we'll wait and see what the weather's like. Have a good one!
