While waiting for the vet to arrive for the blood testing of all the cattle at the farm where we manage the livestock. Two Hercules bombers also flew right over our heads very low but I wasn't quick enough with the camera. A very very busy day but all completed successfully. An uninvited interruption from the department of agriculture doing a spot check on the sheep there. Makes me sick to the stomach when I see them. As farmers we are treated as criminals that are trying to work the system not honest folk desperately trying to jump through all the many complicated hoops so we can receive money we are entitled to. Feeling distinctly rattled and very tired tonight. Lots to sort out for the follow up inspection. oh joy.
