Mixed weather and hockey

We woke up to bright skies and frost, then about an hour later we had some snow (it did not settle), then rain, then sunshine....and very cold! We went to watch Thomas' hockey match - driving there it was raining but while we watched the match it was mainly sunny. But that after match cup of tea was very welcome as I was freezing by the time we went in after the match.

This match was a very different standard from Luke's university match last Saturday! Thomas' team did not play their best but still managed to draw 2-2. I liked this action shot and I have included an extra of my little man.

I have cooked a (hopefully delicious) beef casserole with mustard and horseradish, thanks to Mary Berry, and am looking forward to a cosy night indoors watching TV after supper.
