Freddie the Field Vole

Was in action again today at Old Moor. Quick as a flash he grabbed a seed from under the feeder and off he went to eat it...

I was up early today with the promise of lovely sunny morning. Well, at 7am when I left it was.... I drove around looking for hares but only saw one. By the time I arrived at Old Moor (8.15ish) the clouds were gathering and by 9am it had started to rain/sleet/snow and was very dark. I stayed for a couple of hours but the promised weather never came so I went home. It's now sunny. I think we should make up our own weather forecasts :)

PS - extras are a long tailed tit in bounce mode and an oyc in the snow seemingly having trouble pulling out its' beak from the frozen ground. Only seemingly :)
