Oman Jamboree

We all look happy to be on our way to the District scout camp in Oman...then the bus turned up. It was a slightly better version of a worker's bus with no storage space. I ended up taking the car loaded with rucksacks and camping gear (I was looking forward to reading by book and having a snooze). When we got to the Oman border we found out that the bus drivers didn't have visas. After a 4 1/2 hour wait (with 200 scouts) we got through. Eventually we got to camp at 4am. A 5hr journey took 11 hours
