Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

Kensington Palace

Mother's Day. Went to the co-op to buy papers so that TSM could have tea and a read in bed, and saw the flowers which reminded me of Aged P; so bought a bunch, just to satisfy my own need to mark the day. Although my mum didn't really like flowers in a vase, just the ones growing in the garden.

Went to London (driving to Wimbledon to get the tube because the trains were buggered by engineering work) and had a really lovely afternoon at Kensington Palace, which I've never done before; then the huge Whole Food store on Kensington High Street which we all just lurv.

The weather got a bit iffy between times and this scene, 'though stylised, sums it up pretty well; sort of "spring held in check by the tail end of winter" type of thing.

The boys bought TSM a Lush voucher and The Girl Racer Face Timed from Canada. All is now well and we are ready for our cosy bed. Way to go yet before British Summer Time.
