Recovery
This is a duplicate of a picture I took a few months ago after the paddock had been burnt - the grass in the paddock is now looking fantastic (or at least as good as can be expected given there has been about a quarter of the expected rainfall for the season - being the rainy season...)
The paddock is supposed to be free from cattle at the moment to rest it - in reality, there are about 14 cattle who have jumped fences from other paddocks to test the theory of 'the grass is always greener' - for them, it's true. The wildebeest also hang out in this paddock and can generally be heard snorting away at some point as you walk through. Never entirely sure if I like them snorting at me, but kind of getting used to it.
