Sunset, Banks of the Don looking North

Good day today.
Received email to say my new toy was available for collection.
12mp, 14 x optical zoom, image stabilisation, exposure compensation and schneider lens. Couldn't wait to see what an advanced compact can do.
So it was downtown for coffee, paper and to collect my camera.
I should have read the blurb when I ordered it!
No memory card included and it was micro SDhc!
So I put the camera on charge and went out to buy a clam case and memory card.
Messed about with the camera all late afternoon.
Fun fun fun.
Still getting my head round the options and menus, although it is fairly intuitive.
However, this evening the light has been superb, so the image is from my trusty Nikon.
Hopefully, I will roll some images out from the new camera in the near future.
Real advantage will be it fits in my pocket
so I can have a camera at all times,
without lugging the slr around.
