It's A Doozy!

A 1931 Duesenberg

August and Fred Duesenberg were self-taught engineers that constructed experimental vehicles and race cars. In 1926 Cord Motor Company bought out Duesenberg Company and set the brothers to work using their skills to develope the grandest luxury cars ever made. Seven of these cars were produced - the sister to this car was sold at auction in 2006 for 2.5 million dollars.

In America, the expression " It's A Doozy " means something rather good, doozy being short for Duesenberg.

And that's what I learned from our visit to Haynes Motor Museum today.
