Houseboat in Kerala

Today we drove back to Kerala and our group split into 5's and 6's and we stayed on these houseboats on the backwaters of Kerala for 24 hours. We were greeted by our river pilot, cook and cook's helper! We were then all given a whole coconut with a straw so we had a lovely refreshing drink. Soon afterwards we were treated to a fantastic curry, all the while cruising along. In the evening before another delicious curry, we moored up and went for a walk along the bank where we saw lots of beautiful birds and a beautiful sunset, see extra photo.
