ABSTRACT REFLECTION
in the river, but somehow I see also in it this kiss between two persons.
My imagination, of course.
As an extra abstract I post my second attempt of letting the colours speak to each other, the squares are bigger now than in my first drawing.
youoregon1 is hosting the Abstract Thursday Challenge, and I feel thankful for his dedication and for the great opportunity to see these all together in AT37.
Today had been supposed to be a resting day after yesterday's long walk. But when Piet Hein suggested a walk after lunch, parking the car at the Forellenhof and walking from there, I mentioned the Hutewald project, some kilometers farther from there.
We parked at the church ruin, so strange situated in the forest, and walked along a brook. At our left side the hill looked devastated, all trees were cut and it was not a pretty sight. Later we learned that the many firs were cut to make place for oaks and in time to come it would look like a landscape park, probably not in our life-time we thought.
We saw Exmoor-ponies between the trees ar our right side, we were told that since last year autumn 38 live there. At both sides of the path there were several fens. The weather was overcast today, and a bit cold.
We were the only persons there, only a forester drove by.
Then we found two aurochs, (one as an extra too) and also two lovely horses.
On our way back we saw one of the Exmoor-ponies standing in a fen, drinking the water. Another extra.
Just before dark we reached home again. Really tired. Tomorrow will be a resting day, or that is what we think now.
My haiku:
They live a simple
Life enjoy their food and rest
Under the thick trees
And the proverb:
Never tread on a sore toe.
