March sunset

There was a lovely sunset over Edinburgh this evening. I caught the end of it as I walked home across Bruntsfield Links.

We have conference submission deadlines coming up so I spent much of today helping my PhD students edit their papers. They've been working hard on their manuscripts and have produced some interesting material. After today's efforts I'm sure that they'll meet next week's deadline.

This evening ClarissaFox joined us for supper while Mr Fox was living it up at his pensions conference dinner.

Exercise today: weights, stretches and sit-ups (but no running due to lingering back problem and new ankle injury), then walk to work and back (15,847 steps).
