This is the bridge over the River Avon at Bidford (yes you’ve guessed it) on Avon.  You may have seen it on the news last year, when a tractor knocked a large central section out of it. It’s now fully repaired, but the cost to the local council has been very substantial indeed.
We met up with old friends at a restaurant here this evening, and I took this from the balcony outside before we sat down to eat. The river is extremely flooded still after yesterday’s downpour, and it reached almost to the door.
Thankfully,  the water didn’t come over the threshold, and we had a great meal and a lovely evening catching up  with one another.
Couldn't put my blip up until Friday morning as no broadband available Thursday evening when we returned home.
