dome of the pantheon

...first day in Rome...beautifully sunny...did a recci to get our bearings and to suss out places to spend more time at and places to eat and drink. This is the magnificent and perfectly hemispherical dome of the Pantheon once the largest in the world (but surpassed  by one at Buxton, Derbyshire, UK in the 19th century)
