Hastings Pier

After a disastrous fire in 2010, ( see extra pic), here it is rising pretty much from the dead, like a phoenix from the flames. The pier was almost totally destroyed; just the cast iron framework left. As with Eastbourne's pier (bit of a pattern emerging here), more than worthy of restoration. There was a ballroom at the end and it's not an exaggeration to say that many, many top acts played there. The Stones, Kinks, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Genesis, T-Rex, Hawkwind, Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Jam and many more I'm sure.
Not quite ready for opening just yet but they're talking about April / May.
