It was lovely and sunny by the time me and 'the Boys' hit the park later on though...

Have spent much of the last few days listening to the early recordings of East River Pipe, particularly the stuff that Sarah Records originally put out. That said, Merge have made a laudable job of keeping most of it in print, via their re-issue of the 'Poor Fricky' album and a compilation called 'Shining Hours In A Can' - though they insisted on dicking around with the track listing for 'Fricky' for some obscure reason. Never mind, you can easily trawl the net for the missing tracks and re-number everything on your ipod so that it plays properly, you know, ahem, if you're kind of sad that way, just saying...
