Day 15

Cannobio and Locarno (Switzerland)

Revved up the van for a day trip along the lake.

Stopped at Cannobio, yet another beautiful town which was full of life - a huge market going on, families picnicing, swimming and socialising. We had lunch and Aperol cocktails at this great restaurant before tearing ourselves away.

B is a sports fan so we headed for Locarno right at the top of Lake Maggiore which is just in Switzerland to catch a bit of the Fedderer-Murray final. Despite Roger F being Swiss, folks there didn't seem that bothered and we struggled to find anywhere showing it. Probably not such a bad thing given the result.
