mother blessing

today we celebrating the goddess antonia and her impending third birth with a mother's blessing. a lovely afternoon filled with good food, great conversation (yes, we really did spend the first hour without the fruits of our wombs discussing how they came into the world....and then their nappies and toileting habits!), red wool, candles, beads and henna. lots of henna.

we are very much looking forward to meeting baby! i have a feeling she won't keep you waiting all that much longer now.
