Spring break up

Spring is arriving quickly under bright sunny skies and although we still have piles of snow, what remains is melting quickly. Taking advantage of the bright sunny morning, Kevin and I went exploring. We found Parc de la Cité-du-Havre on a little peninsula in the Saint Lawrence that shields the port. With the spring melt having started upstream last week in Ontario, the river was moving fast today, quickly sweeping huge chunks of broken ice downstream towards the ocean.
