Crocus macro
A bright morning, duller in the afternoon.
We have had a prayer weekend at church which continued into our morning service. We already have a lot of community involvement but the weekend showed that we have to continue to concentrate on this work. We are thankful that we are beginning to see more people being helped through our various activities.
We are aware that it is not about numbers but about the individuals and their needs. Thinking of this as we arrived home, I was struck by the single stamen stem in this crocus, cupped by the surrounding petals. I am also glad that I have a good macro lens and tripod to be able to focus on it - just as we need our gifts skills to focus on people's needs.
